Park rangers are the heroes on the front lines of conservation, yet in many parks and protected places across the globe they are often under-appreciated, and under-equipped. As a result, nearly 170 rangers are killed in the line of duty around the world each year. Poaching remains one of the most significant threats to endangered species and rangers alike. Rally for Rangers uses adventure philanthropy to empower and equip park rangers to more safely and effectively combat poaching and other threats to wild places. A Rally for Rangers is a stunning and powerful documentary that tells parallel stories of Mongolian rangers-in-the-field and the committed community of international moto-adventurists who each raise the funds and take the time to travel through rugged and remote locations to personally deliver and donate new motorcycles and other gear desperately needed by the worlds environmental protectors.

Directors Statement -
Moments of creation are quite often moments of isolation. When we are faced with the deafening silence of doubt. First our own, then that of others.
On its surface, 'Only Fire' is the simple visual story of a motorcycle being built. But I had written the words five years before I found a subject to film. Until I chanced upon this one. And at once I knew I had found the colors with which to paint a story that was at once unique and yet universal.
Marco Möller's two-wheeled labor of love breathed life into a vision of a machine like no other. Every carving was painstakingly hammered home with a mallet and chisel: Tools no more advanced than those used in the era of the Germanic carvings themselves.
I filmed Marco late into the nights for over a year. I had the privilege to watch his journey quite literally from start to finish.
And in the process, I discovered a universal truth that all artists must face:
In the war of creation, doubt is the only enemy.
